SASH is committed to ensuring our services are accessible to all, because everyone is entitled to good sexual health.
There are enough barriers already when accessing sexual health support. Accessibility shouldn't be one of them.
How have SASH made their service accessible?
During the length of our service, we've collaborated with our service users, parents, caregivers, families, and professionals to create customised and inclusive services that address specific access needs, ensuring that we will always be able to deliver our services to those who require them.
This includes providing support both in person and online through video or phone calls, as well as having multiple locations where in-person support can take place.
Does SASH provide accessible support?
We are able to offer advice and support tailored to your needs, including accommodating different neurodiverse conditions, physical disability requirements and adjustments.
For more information on how we can support people who are neurodiverse, please visit our Neurodiversity page.
If I have an accessibility requirement, how should I inform SASH?
This can be during the referral process, or when you speak with your Care Coordinator during the initial assessment. We ask that you please inform us as early as possible when accessing support so we can make any adjustments needed to ensure your requirement is met.
Does SASH provide support for parents, carers or family?
If you are a parent and carer for someone who has additional needs due to their learning disability or Autism, we can provide tailored support for them, you and your family. You can find out more on our Parents and Carers page.
Speak to SASH for free confidential and non-judgemental counselling, coaching and peer mentoring to improve your sexual health and well-being.
