Last week, our partner Metro Charity announced that due to financial pressures, they will sadly be closing, and will no longer continue to operate or deliver services after Tuesday 31st March 2026.
Metro Charity has made an extraordinary difference to the communities it has served over the past four decades, and we are deeply saddened to hear of its closure. Our thoughts are with their staff, volunteers, and everyone who has been affected by this news.
We have been working closely with our remaining partners - Turning Point, NAZ Project, and London Friend - to make sure those affected are not left without support during this transition.
We have contacted those who had been receiving support from SASH, where their care plan may be affected by Metro Charity’s closure, to plan for the continuation of support or to make alternative arrangements.
Above all, we want everyone at SASH to feel supported, listened to, and reassured. We will continue to do everything we can to make this transition as smooth and as thoughtful as possible.
